Terrence Howard Debuts His Album at Private Listening Lunch
“Me and the Band of Kings” slated for a September release
People Magazine is reporting that Terrence Howard is once again getting his Hustle and Flow and flow on…but this time don’t worry ladies he won’t “whoop that trick.” The Academy Award-nominated actor hosted an exclusive, press only lunchtime listening session Monday for his debut album: Terrence Howard - Me and the Band of Kings.
Dipped in a three piece gray suit, Howard got his table drum on with his chopsticks to the sounds of his 11-song disc as it played for his guests at the Sony Club in New York. Howard who plays the guitar on the jazz/ big band album said he began writing songs at age 16 in his “rainbow colored notebook.”
I Don’t know about the rainbow notebook but from a source who attended the party the beats were alright. If your a T.Howard fan look for that to drop in September. The album is currently slated for a September release.
