MLB’s Miguel Tejada Gets Pissed when Ambushed About Questions Concerning his Age.
I thought women get upset when you discuss their age
Miguel Tejada, a major league baseball shortstop and former MVP was recently interviewed by ESPN ambush style. Expecting to be interviewed about his play on the field he was presented with a copy of his birth certificate, which the network obtained in the Dominican Republic.
According to the document Tejada is actually 2 years older than the public records indicates. This is a common practice among Latin ballplayers who try to be perceived as younger and thus more valuable to perspective teams. After 9/11 however, Immigration laws required that all players present accurate information. Tejada complied with this mandate however no one bothered to check…until now. Comedy.
