Recycled Fashion???
No Really!
What would you say if you found out that your favorite pair of athletic shoes that you paid $100+ for was made of scraps off the floor of the Nike factory? Or your favorite (and quite expensive) purse was made of recycled candy bar wrappers? Well the NYPost’s Haute List is all about “Second Chance” fashion and beauty products. I guess with the whole world going “green” the fashion industry had to follow suit somehow. They call it “Eco-fashion”. You’d be surprised at what recycled product was used to make a T-shirt. If they believe it will save our planet, more power to them. The NYPost has more.

I think recycling old stuff and using them for new items is a great idea. At least that way I know that my things I spent money on didn’t end up going to waste. That’s what going green is all about, recycling and re-using.
I just recently went green and I have no regrets. It’s not even as bad as I thought it would be. I thought I would turn into one of those tree-hugger hippie types but I didn’t. And OMG, eco-fashion is so in right now. It’s one of the hottest trends of 2008. Who say’s you can’t help preserve the environment and look good doing it?
Now that I’ve remodeled my closet I had to do a little more around the house. One of the biggest changes that I’ve made so far was switching to bioheat and it’s awesome. It’s non-toxic and made of biodegradable products like soybean oil. Cool right?
