My Yankees Provide Feel Good Story for Local Boston Charity
donates dug up Ortiz jersey to raise a very good amount of money for Jimmy Fund, a children’s cancer charity
 
The NY Yankees could have pissed on, soaked in lighter fluid and set a blaze the pitiful David Ortiz Boston Red Sox jersey that was dug out of the New Yankee Stadium but we have class and thats why we are a 1st class empire. Instead we donated it to the Jimmy Fund in Boston, a local children’s cancer charity.
The Jimmy Fund put the jersey on ebay with an opening bid of $500. As of 8:45 earlier this evening, the bid stood at $30,000 and the bid will be ongoing for another week. Thats wzup. Big ups to us baby. Should get a substantial amount of money, real big!
