MARKETING MATTERS: Courvoisier & LRG Team Up For an Exclusive ‘Pop-Up’ Retail Experience
From Customized Phones, To Charity Auctions, to Exclusive Gear this marketing strategy’s got it all
Last fall, Courvoisier Cognac launched their “Find Greatness Within” ad campaign featuring music mogul Jermaine Dupri and yesterday the brand announced that Jonas Bevacqua, co-founder of LiftedResearch Group (LRG) will be joining Durpi.
As part of the marketing push, Courvoisier and LRG have released a limited edition customized Crackberry, iPhone and iPod. Plus they have locked up with Complex Media to put a unique co-branded retail experience called the “Pop-Up Shop.” Brandweek is reporting that these temporary clothing shops will spring up for 3 days only in in five major U.S. cities starting on April 17th in Los Angeles and showcase exclusive co-branded designs customized personally by Bevacqua. After the tour, merchandise from the Pop-Up Shops will be auctioned off, with proceeds going to Sweat Equity Enterprises, an entrepreneur-based, non- profit organization that serves aspiring designers in underserved communities.
Make sure you peep the website. Following the L.A. launch, the Pop-Up Shop tour continues as follows:
* April 24-26, San Francisco @ True
* May 1-3, Houston @ End Zone Fashions
* May 8-10, Miami @ ARRIVE
