She is correct with what she sas about gangsta rap.Rap in general was about individuals accounts of what they were going through and how they desired to create a better life for themselves and their families. Somewhere from the start the idea got lost. All of a suddden it became this is my life and I don't want to change or do better. That is crazy beyond meands. If that was truly the case, all the rich rappers would give back all of their money and move back to the projects. Good luck with that happening. For the 5 that make it, 100,000's don't. Most of the gangsta rap tellers and doers. They are straight pretenders doing it just for the money. This is fake and their are young black lives being lost to this lie! We should not glamorize that lifestyle at all. No Pen or ink.The life that should get the press is the lives that exist that are like Barack Obama and Michelle.
