Homeland Security Ready to Use Spy Satellites on U.S. Soil
attempt to aide in terrorist minimization
On Fox news this past weeken I heard talk that our homeland security were moving towards the idea of using spy satellites on our home soil. The main reason they SAY is to help combat terrorism here in the U.S.
They wanna try to get the jump on terrorist cells and other already on our soil. My thing is I thought they already were doing this at least for the people they have intelligence on. Alot of people don’t like the move, seeing it as another way for the govt. to peer into personal lives of U.S. citizens. Personally I agree, what do you think? Of course they are saying that conversations and other personal culture won’t be listened to or tracked. The terrorists will be the targets, how will they tell the difference though?

Yeah, it was my understanding they were doing it already.
The government already works with the telecommunication companies to monitor phone calls and text messages. They also work with the internet companies (such as yahoo, aol, google, msn) to monitor internet activity.
There is no difference in who they target. Any information is good information as far as they are concerned.
basically you’ll be okay unless you are a muslim in which case you will be harassed for the rest of your life.
Or from anywhere in the Middle Eastern region. My girl is from Eritrea (right next to Ethiopia) and she gets the “random” search EVERYTIME she goes to the airport. They don’t care who they target. They just like to pump fear in us and circumvent all of the laws that make our privacy private. They’re full of it if you ask me!
