RZA to Host Hip-Hop Chess Federation Event
Mind Over Matter Chess & Grappling Exhibition
We spoke earlier about the RZA’s new album and tour, but if you didn’t know the dude is a serious chess player. He is hosting the Mind over Matter tournament in the Bay Area which will not only be a chess tournament but will also include martial arts grappling exhibitions. RZA, Dilated Peoples, Hieroglyphics and Prince Ali are slated to perform as well. Here’s More

LMAO… Deanna I get you point. Chessboxing is actually a sport! People grapple and then they sit down and play chess. Its really weird but its designed to be a mental sport as much as a physical one.
