Diddy Tells Billboard Cassie Is Less Wack on Her Second Album

I know I can be a hater but I’m not alone when I say that Cassie is wack as hell. Yeah she had a hit single, “Me and You” way back in 2006, yeah she’s cute but where’s the talent?
Recently her boyfriend boss, Sean “Diddy” Combs went to bat for her. After all he did hire her and probably invested mad dough into making her a success. He tells Billboard that Cassie she’s steppe her game up and will surprise heads on her new album.
“That’s going to really, really catch people off guard,” Diddy says. “There’s a huge [cry] out there for a younger Britney Spears, a younger Janet Jackson. Those two great artists have paved the way. She has a single out called “Official Girl” and Danja produced it, and it is a smash.”
When asked about her meltdown performances surrounding the promotion of her self-titled debut album, Diddy said, “I just don’t think she was ready. I think that we threw her into the spotlight without the artist development — that goes on with a lot of new artists. We pulled out, we took our time, we developed her for like, a year-and-a-half. People are just going to see her there and be like, ‘Wow, she’s really cocooned into a butterfly.’”
Ahhh Diddy. She has no talent. You’re acting like she’s in some way going to silence the haters. You can teach her how to dress, interview and carry herself but singing is about talent and if she can’t she’s trash. All you’re saying with that statement is that you effed up and hope that Pro-Tools and the endless amounts of filters producers have used on her next project will cover up her deficiencies. He compared her to Janet and Britney. Now, I’m sure what I’m about to say may piss some people off. Neither Britney or Janet are singers (is that proper english?). They can dance and entertain but they cannot sing.
Cassey can’t sing and her dancing is lackluster. So what does she have left? A cute face. Cute doesn’t sell records if there is no substance behind it. She is a shell. Beautiful on the outside but no talent in the inside to get her up the billboard charts.

I agree Thought, Janet and Britney aren’t KNOWN for singing but I can’t even put Cassie in their league vocally. Like I said. NO talent. Singing or otherwise unless you call a cute face talented.
Diddy should feel no need to try and pass this woman off as a “singer.” There’s lot of jobs that his money could buy for her, and better represent him. He should seek those.
However, if the cost of having her around is putting out cd’s that melt speaker wire, I guess it is a tax write off. And you can never have too many of those.
She was a model b4 she became a “singer”.
Remember yall she is diddy’s secret squeeze. If he’s jumping off with her behind clothes doors she might have him by the gonads. “Make me a singer like you did all those other duds or no buns for you!”

i love cassie and her style but u can’t sing live mama. it doesn’t matter how much diddy puts into your career.. u suck singing in person. u fly though just stay jiggy and model ma, u will be fine..
