LA Times Retracts Tupac Shooting Article
All the News Thats Fit to Retract
The Los Angeles Times has officially retracted the article that it ran last month in which it was stated that Jimmy Henchman set Pac Up when he got shot in 1994 and P. Diddy knew all about it. The Times state that documents which were the basis for the article were forged, but they didn’t know they were forged at the time the article was written.
This is no good for the L.A. Times. In an Era where blogs are replacing traditional newsrooms newspaper outlets have to be even more careful about what they print. All newspapers have retractions but it’s usually retracting a part of an article, not the entire article and not one with such a high profile. (Game Blouses)!
