Cops Seize 4.5 Million worth of Fake Sneakers
Sneakerheads can feel a little better
This week was a BIG week for Sneakerheads across the country. The NYPOST reported that cops seized 4.5 million worth of sneakers in Queens this week. This is only a dent in all of the fake sneakers that are out there but it is still good news to me. One thing that a lot of people don’t realize is that a lot of reatilers sell these fake sneakers in their store, VERY credible stores that are not worth trying to blow up on here. So look twice when you go into a store to buy some sneakers regardless of the name of the store.

There is a lot you can do to combat this. I have been to stores that are legit and have legit sneakers, but they have a few fake pairs in there in the sneak… one is know things like the box color for that year, how the laces are laced – I believe from ’06 and forward the kicks come completely laced to the top instead of half laced. Smell them, if they smell funky like gas – they are fakes.
