Gabrielle Union Sues 2 Georgia Men Over Fake Job Posting
Men created bogus job postings on Craigslist seeking assistants for the actress.
TMZ.com is reporting that Gabrielle Union has filed an invasion of privacy lawsuit against a pair of Georgia con-men for posting a fake job advertisement on Craigslist.com.
Calvin High and Steve Raymond allegedly set up a fake job posting on the site actng on Union’s behalf to find her an executive assistant. Union is suing as a result of her “severe emotional distress” as well as “embarrassment and humiliation” she suffered behind the bogus posting.
Her lawsuit, filed in a Georgia district court on Friday, seeks unspecified damages but also names “John Does 1-10,’ because Union’s lawyers, Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell, LLC, claim the acts were committed “in conjunction with and/or with the help of several other individuals who are unknown… at this time.”
My question is what did these men hope to gain by hiring an assistant on behalf of Gabrielle Union? I can’t see how they could extort money from the person they hired. Perhaps it was part of a more elaborate scheme that never had a chance to play out.

Yo… Where did you get that pick from? I don’t recognize the logo on the left side. I’m liking it.
Sounds like the dudes were looking for a date. Most celebs have female assistants. So I’m thinking they were hoping to get some digits.
Ahhhh…I had that one in the vault. But I just did a quick Google Search, its up in the images.
So your theory is that they could jumpoff with the prospective assistant because the job applicant would be do anything to meet Gabby Union. On some Bang Bus type thing? Hmmm, interesting.
im pretty sure that logo is for Maxim
so edible
great smile
The “Mummy” franchise has evermore been the B-film portrayal of the “Indiana Jones” films, which themselves are B flick picture shows imposing by Steven Spielberg into an proceeding-affair colossus. So what does that do the “Mummy” films in the huge organization of likings? C flick picture shows?
More helter-skelter This moving picture
The third installment, “vault of the Dragon Emperor,” directed by Rob Cohen (“XXX,” “The rapid and the intense”), is by far the weakest. In it the disquiet-longing for whisper suppress-and-helpmeet exploring pair, Rick and Evelyn O’Connell (Brendan Fraser and Maria Bello, who replaces Rachel Weisz), concern out of retirement in 1946 to expeditions to Shanghai, where they are tricked into plateful raise from the dead an pernicious 2,000-year-old emperor (Jet Li). The emperor’s projections to beconcern Olympian all those years ago were foiled when a kind-hearted sorceress (Michelle Yeoh) laid a oath on him. While in
Shanghai, Rick and Evelyn run into their scampish college dropout son, Alex (the charmless Luke Ford).
When the affliction is accidentally lifted, the emperor, joined by a revolutionary Chinese army, rushes to the Himalayas, where a dip in a league in Shangri-La promises Olympianity. He already has abnormal powers and likes to time himself into a three-headed dragon. Accompanying the O’Connells is Evelyn’s out of the ordinary, wisecracking fellow-creature Jonathan (John Hannah), who during the split pursue to the mountains is vomited on by a yak.
The kindest liking to be said for this in a dither, cluttered turn upside down of cheesy computer-generated proceeding-affair cliche’s is that at least you can see how the estimated $175 million budget (according to the Internet film Database) was spent. We get an avalanche, an army of bow-and-arrow-wielding skeletons, a car pursuit that twists into a fireworks burgeoning, and a cadre of snowy yetis. In the big’s abortive ride to conjure visceral excitation, the combat sequences are edited into an shuffled mingle that certifys you empathize with trapped on a shaky airplane sitting in a league of yak vomit.
“The Mummy: mausoleum of the Dragon Emperor” is rated PG-13 (Parents reinforcedly cautioned). It has some pungent idiolect and conciliatory violence.

Do any of you still chat in Yahoo Chat?
I used to chat in Yahoo Chat all the time until it got so over ran by spam bots, but I came accross a new chat site a couple of weeks ago called Oohya chat. It’s actually pretty good, a lot like Yahoo chat with webcams, voice, and profiles but without all of the stupid spam bots.
If you’re like me and gave up on chat because of all of the crap in Yahoo you should check it out. I miss some of the chats I used to have in yahoo and hope this one takes off. The only downside I really see is that they just don’t have as many people in it but as people find out about it I’m sure it will grow.
