World’s Top Golfer Takes His Game…Out of This World

Not only has Tiger Woods’ been busy winning more chips but now he’s making more bread in the marketing world which amounts to an athlete that’s eating…big time.  Saturday, Gatorade (PepsiCo) launched a national ad campaign in support of their new brand, Gatorade Tiger.   

In the TV commercial (above) the worlds undisputed best takes his golf game to the moon.  The comprehensive integrated marketing campaign includes television and print advertising, digital communications, retail displays, promotions, sampling and cause-related marketing initiatives.

So of course you want to know what’s different with Gatorade Tiger from the original or even the new G2 brand recently launched.  In their release, Gatorade says the new Tiger endorsed brand “provides advanced hydration to fuel athletic performance and captures the unique qualities of Woods.” and contains 25 percent more electrolytes to
advance fluid and electrolyte replacement.

“I’ve experienced a lot of amazing moments in my golf career, but Gatorade Tiger is taking me someplace I never imagined with this campaign,” said Tiger Woods. “I’m really excited about how this launch has come together because it brings to life that I’m always thinking about taking my game to the next level.”

    This is true! I had a Tiger Gatorade yesterday and when I went to work out I discovered that I’m now half Asian.
