MARKETING MATTERS: Georgi Vodka to feature Spitzer’s Call Girls Ass in Ad Campaign
Company in talks to feature hooker in ad campaign and may name new flavor ‘No. 9.’ You can’t make this up.
Well even the proverbial “15 minutes of fame” doesn’t discriminate against prostitutes. High-end hooker, Ashley Alexandra Dupre - aka “Kristen” aka Elliot Spitzer’s jumpoff may need to hire an agent.   AdAge.com is reporting that the household brand, Georgi vodka is attempting to hire Dupre as the face of their new ad campaign…or should I say ass. The vodka company is in talks with the call-girl to use her ass on bus ads they expect to run in New York City. (Almost) like Biggie said she went from ashy to classy…more like ashy to shameless.
According to Martin Silver, CEO of Star Industries, the US distributor of Georgi, he is in talks to pay Dupre more than $100,000 to be this year’s Georgi “butt girl,” an annual campaign that the brand displays on buses and yellow taxis.Â
“The girl’s butt we have on there now is pretty good, but if you can get (Dupre) to do it, and to make some personal appearances, it’s like Paris Hilton or something,” Silver told AdAge.com. “We are trying to work out a contract.” According to Silver the brand may further push the envelope and name the vodka “No. 9″ which of course was the FBI’s code word for Spitzer. Seriously?
That’s unbelievable. Next thing you’ll know she’ll be cast in one of these sleazy reality TV shows on VH1’s Celebreality block. Maybe even Celebrity Rehab. If I see her walking a red carpet i’ma vomit.Â
