Candadian Press: Banned Boondocks Episodes to run on Canada’s Teletoon Channel
And Finally a permanant video feed for the banned “Huey Freeman Hunger Strike” episode
The Canadian Press is reporting that two episodes “The Boondocks” that were stripped off the air here in the United States are actually running on Canada’s Teletoon channel. The episode “The Huey Freeman Hunger Strike” shown below which actually aired last Sunday and “The Ruckus Reality Show” will air this Sunday at 10:30 p.m. on “Detour” the network’s answer to The Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim programming.
We’ve been trying to post these two episodes for the Nation but they keep getting pulled by YouTube because Turner Cable‘s Cartoon Network keeps hating. Sure they bash BET’s CEO, Debra “Dr. Lee-vil” Lee, and portray her as a sinister tyrant wants to “accomplish what hundreds of years of slavery, Jim Crow and malt liquor couldn’t – the destruction of black people,” but its in good comedic fun. Parody.
