Im not sure if Puffy knew about this, but it is shady that Biggie dropped Who Shot Ya immediately after this event. There are more articles out today concerning this issue. Sadly, both artists are dead and Hip Hop is no better for it. I just feel this newspaper article is not really investigating the truth but creating more anger an tensions between both coast.

Interesting theory...I guess that's what they'll always be. Theory. No one will ever be convicted in either of these cases unfortunately. The City College deal was a little bit before I was of age to attend an event like it but I've read a lot about it and seen the VH1 Behind the Music special (if that counts.)

I agree with your comment on my SB post. Is Sean Combs a shady character? Undoubtedly so. The City College incident in Harlem in 1992 which I attended is proof of this: 9 people crushed to death due to an unruly crowd and little security and no evidence of a charity, despite it being billed as a "charity basketball game."

Does Puffy have the balls to have knowledge of a robbery attempt gone bad and let it go? Possibly. But Puffy is not a gangster, and the "rough-and-tumble" street of Mount Vernon do not count. Rosemond and Agnant are shady characters and were living the gangster life. They both just wanted some of that Bad Boy money and thought it would be a good way to impress Puffy.

At least that's how I see it.
