Bruce Williams: Dr. Dre Does Will Smith Dirty on Bad Boys 2 Soundtrack

Posted by Juan

His soundtrack submission ‘Bitch Niggas’ was a subliminal dig at Will Smith’s G-Rated Raps.

Bad Boys 2

Looks like movie star Will Smith was subliminally dissed By Dr. Dre on the soundtrack of his 2003 movie Bad Boys 2.  The New York Post’s Page Six column is reporting that in Bruce Williams‘ hip-hop memoir Rollin’ With Dre, the Dre’s confidant for nearly 20 years shares that in doing some background music for a key scene in the movie, Dre slipped in a message for the former rapper.

Williams writes, “We made sure that the music underneath that scene was the song ‘Bitch Niggaz‘ from The Chronic 2001, because that’s what we thought of that hater, Smith. We had to get our fun where we could . . .” Smith has been critical of violent rap songs and has urged artists to tone down their lyrics.

Nice!  Thinking back on the movie I do remember that.  There were no words just the instrumental.  Wasn’t it RuthlessNYC (Loyal member of the Highbrid Nation since 1999) who said that Will Smith was his favorite rapper when his single “Miami” dropped. Lol.
