Obama-Sharpton

Rev. Al ”Captain African-America Sharpton has launched an investigation into whether to pursue a  lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee if it they decide to use the states primary results in the presidential nomination/delegates tally.  Previously the party publically stated they would exclude Florida and Michigan’s results from the delegate tally after those states scheduled their primaries earlier than allowed acording to official party rules.
THE PROBLEM:  The race is now neck and neck and the committee will soon have to make some tough choices and allow those primaries to count will strongly tip the scales in Sen. Clinton’s favor.

SHARPTON’S POINT:  Some citizens deliberately stayed away from the polls believing their votes wouldn’t count and thus it is unfair to count those primaries.

Captain African America has never officially endorsed a candidate but its not very hard to tell who he’s pulling for now is it?

I don’t think that Sharpton is going to have any reason to do so. It appears that one of two things is going to happen. Either the states pay for a re-do, or their votes don’t get counted.

In the event of a re-do, and both Florida and Michigan are redone as either a caucus or a primary, thus giving both candidates equal opportunity to campaign and have both of their names on the ballot, a lot of time has passed since the original election. I guarantee you the results will be monumentally different.

Whatever happens, the results as they currently stand won’t be accepted. Given that, Obama has just as much opportunity as HRCdoes, primary or caucus.

honestly like Sheila said we may see is a “re-do” which wont be paid for by the state instead a corperate sponsor maybe. It could be the “Coco-Cola Florida Primary” or something.

Sharpton is actually making a fair point for all right now and not some crazy assumption for some. Good job Captain African-America
