Venus Williams Launches EleVenbyVenus.com
Is this an attempt to give greater access to fans or to get them to buy her gear?
Venus Williams has officially announced the launch of EleVenbyVenus.com the new online interactive interface where fans can get a “a fully immersing experience” and keep up with the tennis star both on and off the court. The site is also the interactive hub for new lifestyle apparel brand, EleVen by Venus Williams.
The the website offers real-time updates, short films, tournament schedules, match updates, and background on issues and organizations Venus cares about deeply. The website features “V’s Blog,” which provides a rare glimpse into the tennis star’s thoughts about fashion and traveling on the WTA Tour. Its powered by WordPress…in case…you really…cared. Visitors will also be able to peep her new footwear and apparel brands that she created with retailer Steve & Barry’s.
