UPDATE!!The Game Released From Jail–After 8 Days…Nah He Still Locked Up…Wait Now He’s Free Again
Cali rapper The Game was released from jail 8 days in while serving a supposed 60-day stint…Update: Game not expected home until April…Now they say he’s free again (good grief)
According to TMZ Compton, CA rapper the Game was released from jail this morning (Mar. 10) after 8 days in Twin Towers Correctional Facility. The Game was sentenced to 60 days after pleading no contest to a felony charge of possession of a firearm in a school zone.
***UPDATE***
According to SOHH:
Despite published reports posted earlier today, The Game is still incarcerated in a Los Angeles county prison facility. The Game’s Manager, Jimmy Henchman, cleared up the confusion stating “We had anticipated that he would be release on or before April 2nd,” Henchman explained to SOHH. “[We were expecting] it to be similar to what happened with Paris Hilton, where she was sentenced to 90 days and only did a week in the penitentiary. As of right now, I don’t know what county jail he’s at. We’re anticipating for him to be home probably April, so he can promote his album.”
UPDATE #2:
According to MTV:
The Game is a free man, according to a representative for the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles. There had been some confusion surrounding the status of the rapper. His attorney, in an e-mail to MTV News on Monday, confirmed her client was released from his scheduled 60-day sentence after serving only eight days. The reason? Overcrowding, Shawn Chapman Holley said.
“[Game] is now on probation and will eagerly begin his court-ordered community service,” Holley added.

He’ll probably sell that on his next album. Like I did hard time for that gun possession rap. Yeah 8 days. yaaaaawn.
He lasted longer in jail than his last album did on the charts.
