UPDATED: N.Y. Governer Rumored to Step Down; Tied to Upscale Prostitution Ring

Ethics-Reform Happy, Gov. Spitzer Gets caught up in High Priced Hooker Sting

Eliot Spitzer
You Came This Close to Getting Away With It.

UPDATE:  according to Foxnews.com, New York Governor, Eliot Spitzer is expected to submit his resignation to the New York General Assembly Monday night.

The New York Times first reported it and in this press conference,  and now Spitzer has confirmed that he, (now known as the infamous client #9) was indeed involved in a highly publicized prostitution ring.

The initial announcement immediately brought speculation that his involvement might be linked to recent arrest of four people in connection with an expensive prostitution operation but no confirmation has been given. The Times did quote a source saying the governor is in fact one of the men identified as clients in court papers.  There still is no confirmation although it is being highly reported.  The governor, a first-term Democrat was mad gun ho about bringing ethics reform to New York and is married with three children.

According to public documents, the governor’s travel records show that he was in Washington in mid-February. One of the clients described in court papers arranged to meet with a prostitute who was part of the ring, the Emperors Club VIP on the night of Feb. 13.

Uhhh Oh. Oddly enough this sounds like the Wire. Government corruption from an administration that was elected on the back of a platform of ethics reform. Doesn’t sound too ethical Eliott. Tisk Tisk.

Client No. 9 (as he has been referred in some reports)is just another politician trying to get his nut on. This is to be expected from someone who points finger of shame at people and corporations.

I’m now interested in the guy who will run the government when/if dude resigns. I understand he is legally blind. Not sure how someone is going to govern the state who cannot read the laws.

Hence why I don’t need to be a politician. I got too many skeletons and I’m a good guy.

lol, yo I’m legally blind also. Just means you need corrective lenses to operate a vehicle or heavy equipment.

No worries. Between him being legally blind and Black the cards are stacked against him. He would be the first Black Governor of NY if Spitzer rolls out of office.
