How often have you heard bad press from the Essence Festival?
Never really paid attention. Why?
Curious. Seems that this would be the only event (concert wise) that I don’t hear violence and misdeeds happening at. Unlike the radio sponsored events such as Summer Jam and Powerhouse (or what ever they call it).
From what I’ve heard essence fest is a lil bit of an older crowd. (Think about the type of people who read essence.)So the propensity for violence is lower.
