Drop a Gem On Em

Tired of Feeling Tired in the Morning.

 wakeup.jpg

As professionals we’ve all had the experience of sleeping for 4 or 5 hours for the night waking up and feeling refreshed. Or Sleeping8-9 hours for the night waking up feeling groggy, tired, and confused as to why we slept more but feel less rested. In our pursuit to become the ultimate professional we can lose the race before it even starts by not being well rested.  A good nights rest is paramount to achieving success on a daily basis. When your rested your mind is sharper, your more focused, and you make better decisions. Things such as diet, activity level, and conditions of your rest area all contribute to a good or not so good nights sleep.  My favorite Blog Dumb Little Man Tips For Life has a wonderful article on waking up in the morning with a higher energy level, something we can all use.

  • » Drop A Gem On Em: Power Naps | Highbrid Nation | Because Knowledge is Power

[…] We spoke a few weeks back about a good nights sleep, but sometimes all you need is a power nap. As professionals there are times during the work day were you might hit “a wall” you just feel tired, sluggish, and not able to fully concentrate. The perfect answer to this problem is power napping. Over at my favorite blog they speak on this very subject. Theres instructions on how to power nap, when and where to power nap and how often you should do it. It worth taking a look.
