REPORT: Chris Rock Reps Hired Mafia-Style Investigator To Illegally Wiretape In Paternity Suit

Posted by Juan

Comedian fingered as client of Hollywood private investigator, Anthony Pellicano, who’s currently on trial for federal wiretapping and racketeering.

Chris Rock

Welcome to the weekend Nation. I’m not sure if yall have been keeping up with the federal wiretapping trial of Hollywood private investigator Anthony Pellicano. I’ve been keeping a close eye on it.

Pellicano has been charged with running a criminal enterprise in which he wiretapped phones and bribed police and telephone workers in effort to obtain information on enemies of his high profile clients. He then obtained confidential information that could be used to gain advantage in divorce, business and other cases for his celebrity clients. For example, if you’re an actor and your wife was trying to divorce you and get that alimony, you’d hire him to dig up some dirt on her to use against her so she’d drop the case.

Anthony Pellicano

I didn’t want to post anything about it because there hadn’t been any names dropped that Hip Hop would really care about…until Chris Rock’s name appeared on a list of potential witnesses yesterday.
According to court documents, Rock hired Pellicano in a paternity battle with former video hoe model Monika Zsibrita. She claimed in April 2006 that Pellicano hired a former LAPD sergeant to snoop through her confidential records after she made a paternity claim against the comedian. Sylvester Stallone and Garry Shandling’s names have also been dropped as potential victims also and according to the AP Stallone will testify if needed. The full witness list includes 27 people.

This is crazy! I’m in the wrong business. I know dude got nabbed but think about how much bread he made by making celebrities headaches go away. The eraser for real! I’ll keep an eye on the case and see what else leaks out.

Also named were Brad Grey, chairman and chief executive officer of Paramount Pictures; Ron Meyer, president and chief executive officer of Universal Studios; and former Walt Disney Co. president and powerful talent agent Michael Ovitz. Big Dogs Kid Big Dogs…major bread here.

And on Chris Rock, his ass would not have been worried if he knew how to wrap it up. Damn, all that money and still governed by the head downstairs. *smdh*
