Some ID C...that's great but this is a PROMOTIONAL deal. Crocs are the worst pair of footwear to ever hit the market. Yeah they're probably comfortable but no one whose ever rocked to a Biggie Album is ever going to lay to claim to rocking Crocs in the street. So he's going to be on stage saying "Shout to Crocs, real fine footwear?" And people are going to beleive him? If anything its a bad association on Crocs part. Lenox Lewis looked stupid enough promoting them on The Apprentice.

Maybe I'm making an example out of Fab but his marketing choices have been suspect. Remember the TV ads with him rocking those Reebok 5411's. Terrible. Good Argument though none the less.

S.Dot i agree there is a problem with the cut the check Philosophy, but i don't think that is FAB's thought in this case. I agree thoses shoes have nothing to do with hip hop, but looking at the tour stops don't you think this opens up FAB's music to a different demographic? As regards his "image", as long as FAB doesn't wear the shoe how will his image be effected?
The problem i see is that many people MUST associate Hip Hop artist with certain Products, but they never expect them to widen out.
In 50's case it took major marketing dollars, Ad's, and Coca-Cola to buy Glaceau for us to notice that grape quater-water i mean "Formula 50" was a good idea. So give FAB some time maybe one of his ventures might pop-off
