John Shop Record Founders May Go to Jail For Life
$1 million worth of a herb sold a week
If your familiar with reggae music you’ve probably heard the name John Shop Records. The studio/record label which authorities claim was launch with drug money suffered a blow when eight men connected to John Shop were convicted by a federal jury of selling up to $1 million worth of marijuana a week. Artists like Wyclef and Sizzla were among those who recorded at John Shop. Authorities claim the gang known as the John Shop Crew flew over 2000 pounds of herb a week from Cali to NY where they then distributed to lower level dealers this went on for seven years from 1997 to 2004. Leader of the crew Anthony Patterson allegedly oversaw the operation. Him and four others are facing life in prison. (Game Blouses)!

yo bump all that. these guys were the man. there’s no reason why any of them should be in jail, or even be punished. they made tons of people happy. Jail for life? is that serious. If they murdered, or even physical attacked someone i can see a jail sentence, but selling weed? As i previously stated, it made a load of people happy, and who gets physically hurt by this? honestly? i’d like to talk to the judge who sentenced these men to death, for helping others.
