Nike Creates Biggie Tribute T-Shirts
Nike pays homage to the legendary KING of New York The Notorious B.I.G. with tribute tees
Nike has released two t-shirts to pay tribute to The Notorious B.I.G. One design appears to be inspired by Biggie’s first LP “Ready To Die” which adds a pair of Air Force 1′s to the silhouette of the baby that apperaed on the LP’s cover art. The other is a simple black Tee with “THE NOTORIOUS” across the chest.
The T-Shirts are currently available through Tradition but you gotta call and place an order.
(Little known fact: The baby on the cover of the “Ready To Die” album is actually B.I.G.’s daughter T’yanna)
I like how they put a positive spin on “Ready to Die.”
The design is simple and effective.

The shirts are corny Biggy wouldn’t even rock them. I hope Nike is giving 95% of the profits to Biggy’s moms so many people have ate off his plate after his death. Isn’t there anything thats sacred.
Nice homage, but not really feeling them….and why is Nike doing that anyway?
