I am sure most of our regular readers have realized by now that Highbrid Nation looks a little different. Surprise! We’ve been working on this redesign for quite some time and we’re really proud to see it launched. A while back I came across a top-notch wordpress designer and gave him a laundry list of features I wanted along with a sack full of cash with a large dollar sign on it and the guy delivered.

So here we are with a brand new site. Users will notice first off though the color scheme is the same, this site is much prettier. Secondly users will notice that navigation is now beastly. Highbrid Nation’s archives include about 5260 posts and now users will have an easier time discovering great older content that is still worth a read.

My goal for Highbrid Nation is to create the best urban blog website on the net. So a friendly note to SandraRose, Nah Right, Real Talk NY, Pro Hip Hop be aware there is a new kid on the block. And SOHH, AllHipHop, XXL, King and Hip Hop DX, we’re gunning for your spot.

So I invite you guys to click around and explore the new features. We are still working out some bugs and will also still be rolling out new features through the next week or so but the lion share of the site is working just fine.

I have a few other things I want to say but I’m just gonna pass it off to a video of my boy Oswald Bates since he’s much better at explaining these things than I am.
