First Look: Janet Jackson on Ebony
she’s gettin’ it in, lookin’ good too
FILED IN Entertainment, Honeys, Music

janet looks alright here. but can she really keep up the sexy image much longer. shes getting old as hell
Don’t count her out. She has some time before the body falls apart. Just look at Tina Turner still doing her thing. Tina may not be able to lift her leg over her head but she can give you a good show.
One thing Janet needs to stop doing is getting fat between albums. If she stays on the fitness course, instead of taking breaks, she will be able to maintain her Sexy/Dance/Pop status.
first, if you look at the comments listed above, you see why alot of young black women are dying of anorexia faster than white ones. secondly, sexy is a state of mind. she could be 300 lbs and still sound incredible. contrary to popular belief, everything is not about sex!! Janet gives an incredibe amount of money to charity. you also do not see her name in gossip columns linked to every tom, dick & harry in the biz. now to me, that is sexy!! i will keep listening & buying Janet’s music as long as she puts it out; regardless of her weight. sexy does fade, but your GOD given talent will still be there.
Weak minded people who have a bad self image and need reassurance and validity from the outside world are the ones who end up anorexic. It isn’t the fault of my words but the images that people try to compare themselves to that starts the downward spiral that is anorexia.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Certain elements of ones self make that person uniquely beautiful. No one is asking Janet to starve herself. But she also has some conditions that should be kept in check with exercise.
Please understand I don’t like females that look like they skipped a few meals. That isn’t thing.
Look back at some of the comments about Jill Scott and you will see that a big woman is appreciated over a skinny woman any day.
thanks Urban Thought. it had also crossed my mind that for years we as a people were trying to get others to accept us for being black. now, we have other blacks who try to make us feel worse about ourselves than white people ever did!!!
I know just what you mean. The topic is something I’ve been meaning to address on my site for some time.
I find it harder fitting in with Black people that White. Not that I’m looking to fit in or be accepted. However, it seems as though Black people are overly critical of other Black people – more so than I’ve experienced with White Folk.
thank you Urban Thought. that is the story of my life. that is why Jesus is my best friend
