Brooklyn Activist Sues Jay-Z and Nets Ownership for Ties to Slave Trade

Posted by Juan

Claiming Brooklyn Yard’s Sponsor, Barclay’s, has ties to Slavery dating Hundreds of Years

Brooklyn Nets

I guess Jay-Z is having a rougher day that the Highbrid Nation Tech team. Peep this, The New York Observer is reporting that Clive Campbell (no relation to DJ Kool Herc who shares the same governement name), an activist from Brooklyn, NY is suing the New Nets ownership team which is headed by Bruce Ratner and includes Jay-Z, for $5 billion in a “claim of lien” action that seeks the money for slavery reparations! LMAO! this is some crazy ish. Read on…
The lawsuit claims the developers involved in the $4 billion Atlantic Yards project in Brooklyn the proposed site for the arena for the New Jersey Nets profited from the African slave trade, and continues to make money through its new partnership with Jay-Z and Ratner.

Barclays recently bought the naming rights to the new arena, and has been accused of having links with the slave trade. Campbell’s lawsuit claims that Ratner and Jay-Z worked “in concert” with Barclays, and “profited from the African Slave Trade and continue to profit from these gains, through a conspiracy dating back hundreds of years and continue to date to oppress Black people, enslave them, unlawfully deport them to all corners of the Earth.”

Gotta love America boy. Perhaps there IS some connection with Barclays and slave trade. Hell they’ve been around for forever but to link Jay and Ratner just because they’ve partnered and say that as a result they’re profiting off slave trade? I guess we’ll be locking up every white dude walking the street pretty soon. I guess I should also be expecting my 40 acres and a mule in the mail next week. Get a grip!

Dude needs to go after the Catholic Church. At least that case would have some merit.
