Nas & Jay-Z Duet Album
The Ether Takeover
The New York Daily News is reporting that there is a lot of talk regarding Jay-Z’s new record label Carter Music Group and a possible duet album with former rival turned best friend Nas. The Album which is tentatively titled “The Kings of Hip-Hop” will be released early next year, but label reps are being very hush about the whole thing.
If you ask me this is 2 little 2 late if this was 5-10 yrs ago then a Jay-ZÂ Nas album would be a sure fire smash. Now the game is different I don’t think people really care, hopefully I’m proven wrong. (Game Blouses)! Â

it’ll be fire
If they can get some certified beats (hint: Preemo/Just Blaze) and i been hard street joints and leave the commercial pop sound alone this joint has the potential to be crack…the lyrics are always there…but we’ll see
It’s all about the lyrics. Nas has a poetic flow and Jay-Z does what he does. With a good beat and the lyrics to make your mind go hmmm… It isn’t too late.
What would make it is a video… And if they do appearances again then hopefully Nas won’t forget any of his lines…
Who cares? This album is going to be Blouses because hip hop is dead. You could put KRS, Jay Z, Nas, Rakim and Ghost on every track and it wouldn’t be great. Why? It’s all because people don’t know what good music is and for that reason, the beats will be simplistic and lame in an attempt to draw in the masses. Jay-Z and Nas are good, but this album is wayyyy too late.
I’m not hating, jut speaking the truth. Don’t get me wrong, I will be downloading it when it comes out. If it aint, Red or Ghost, I just don’t buy it.
