Lincor Solutions, Dublin based company, has created MEDIVista. It’s a touchscreen LCD display that’s invented for hospital purposes. MEDIVista is versatile because both the doctor and patient can use it. Doctors and nurses can use it for medical reason like viewing x-rays and medication management. For the patient it’s an entertainment station. Some capabilities are watching TV, listening to the radio, surfing the web, checking email and making calls with IP. Now, you can go to Wikipedia and really see how sick you are…BRILLANT. This is not a concept because Licor Solutions has recently signed an agreement with Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, New Jersey to have these screens placed on all 397 hospital beds. If you’re ever a resident at Holy Name at least you cant utter, “I’m bored to death.” Thanks Gizmo
