Multimedia designer, Phil Lu, has created software that is visually pleasing. He calls it “Quickorder” and its makes people with Iphones and Ipods circumvent the traffic in Starbucks. “Quickorder” lets the customer order and purchase their drink from the Starbucks menu. Once, the customer finishes the order there is a corresponding Semacode aka proof or purchase to confirm your order. Semacodes are similar to the barcodes that flyers use at airport kiosks. The ideal outcome is for Iphone users to seamlessly get their order and get on with their life. Apple hasn’t adopted this program yet but it would definitely be a nice addition to the empire. I’ve personally boycotted Starbucks since their existence but with this program I might be like Will Ferrell from Kicking and Screaming. Thanks Genoco
