BUSINESS MATTERS: Pharrell to Launch High End Line of Furniture
First Louis Jewels now Furniture…what next?
We all know by now that the new breed of Hip Hop Artist is not just about making music anymore. The labels aren’t making money and hence artists aren’t either…at least not from music. However they still maintain their individual cult followings so they use it to enterprise and stack bread in other arenas. That’s where we got the phenomenon of hip hop clothing lines and now branching off into liquor brands, jewelry lines, movie houses etc.
Well this time my man Pharrell Williams (Skateboard P. ) is taking it left field and has teamed up with high end furniture designer Art Basel to launch a line of Swiss style furniture. The details are sketchy but I’m sure it will be out of most of our price ranges when it launches. Shout to Hip Hop Crunch.
