Hip Hop’s Doo Doo Fashion is another man’s Treasure. Andre Benjamin releases his ‘Benjamin Bixby Collection’

Posted by Juan

I wouldn’t wear it.

Doo Doo?

While its very cliche at this point in the Hip Hop timeline to start a clothing line its safe to say that The Benjamin Bixby Collection won’t be confused for any the Hip Hop inspired lines that preceded it. The brand inspired by Andre Benjamin of Outkast launched this week and undoubtedly fits his outlandish personal style.

The 70 piece line consists of boiled-wool sweaters and double-vent corduroy blazers, high-waisted trousers and striped dress shirts. Inspired by American Football gear of the 1930’s, Dre’s crazy style fused whit his unquestionable passion for his craft (whether it be music or clothing) lends itself to unbelievable success within this industry. His retro/ out of this word, artsy-fartsy steeze exemplifies high fashion today. So while its Doo Doo Fashion to us I predict he’ll become the next GREAT American fashion designer transcending his rap career. As evidence by the early reviews it looks like I’m right.
