Not so silent Industry Killer?

We’ve been saying that hip hop is dead, hell the entire music industry is dead.  Record sales have plummeted, record stores (even the huge chains) have all closed down and the once cutting-edge compact disc has become an antiquated piece of plastic now reserved for storing data.  Is it possible that with the head first nose dive that the industry has taken behind the digital music age that a recovery is possible.

One optimist, Wes over at The Swift Chancellor wrote a very eloquent post on why he feels the recent demise is nothing short of a “A market correction.”  Perhaps intended to be slightly tounge-in-cheek its an excellent read none the less.  After you’re finished catching up here….check Wes out over here.
