“Omar” from the Wire gets Stonewalled by bouncer at his own premiere party

Posted by Juan

Actor is denied entrance because his entourage was too large.

Omar

Actor Michael K. Williams who plays the vigilante homo-thug Omar on HBO’s “The Wire,” found himself as unwelcome at the premiere party of his own show last Friday as his character is in a Baltimore stash house. The New York Post Page’s Six is reporting that security at Le Royale on Leroy Street in New York denied him entrance because Williams’ entourage of eight male friends was too big.

“The doorman told him he couldn’t let a big group in, but could let in two people,” according to a witness. An understandably pissed off Williams said, “All of us need to get in.” One of his associatiates went on to say “This is Michael from ‘The Wire’ and this is ‘The Wire’ party.”

The crew never made it in and according to witnesses on the scene the entourage made plans to go to another club called “The Plumm.” At least it aint just me. Omar just sit back and watch the fifth and final season on TV like the rest of us.

That’s hilarious because I prevented some lame from The Wire from entering my bar the other day. I don’t watch TV so I don’t know who these fool a**e* are. Coming up to me dressed like sh*t, talking about, “what’s good homey, I’m Shorty Sh*tsta*n from ‘The Wire’, what’s good?” I was like get the f*ck outta here! LMAO
