The undisputed king of gaming, Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel is challenging fellow gamers to join him in an attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the “Most People to Register for a Web Site in 48 Hours.” He’s urging gamers worldwide to register at http://www.madgamernetwork.com between 12 PM EST Jan. 15 and 12 PM Jan. 17 to launch the Mad Gamer Network, social network web site for gamers.
“Gamers have the chance to set a Guinness World Record at the same time we kick start a web site that’s about us the gamers,” says Fatal1ty. According to its founder, Jeff Arant MGN focuses on the individual gamer. “MGN lets you interact with your friends, customize your own personal profile, earn points and levels, receive awards, plan strategy, and be highlighted as a featured gamer or clan.”
As added incentive to register, Fatal1ty is offering one registered gamer a chance to play Quake 4 online one-on-one against Fatal1ty. Hmmmm so basically you get a chance to get your ass reamed by the best gamer on the planet…nice!
If you’re REALLY into gaming you should really check it out. It’s a true gaming geeks paradise. The interface is really next level web 2.0 type stuff that you don’t ordinarily see on the internet.
