BUSINESS MATTERS: XXL Cans Editor in Chief
Wilson may have gotten into hot water with his controversial Blogging?
It was widely rumored by has now been confirmed by both SOHH and AllHipHop
that XXL Editor-in-Chief Elliott Wilson has been fired. The details are sketchy and no reason has yet been indicated. Media Take Out has reported that Wilson had been made the scapegoat for declining ad sales. Another theory is that his departure may be related to his online activity. Wilson had also been XXL chief blogger for their website. Vanessa Satten has been named his as his interim replacement.
According to SOHH, Wilson was known in the industry because of his blogs that took personal attacks at his former collegues, competition, websites and artists. That might make finding a NEW job pretty tough don’t you think?
