2008 NHL Winter Classic in Buffalo Today
Outdoor NHL Game
This years Ice Bowl is being held in my city. That’s right, big up Buffalo. My Buffalo Sabres and the Pittsburgh Penguins will make NHL history later today as they play the NHL’s 1st outdoor hockey game in the U.S. The game will be held where my Bills play; at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park and there expecting 70,000 which would be a nhl record also. History in the Lo! Cheahhhh. I heard those tix sold out in like 18 minutes. You can catch the game at 1 on NBC.

i almost forgot about this game. it’ll be nice to see the Pittsburgh Penguins beat Buffalo. heard it might snow during the game too.

Great game too. The weather conditions really made it fun to watch and it looked like the players had a ball as well. Sid the kid ending it in the shootout in the snow? Couldn’t ask for a better outcome if you’re the NHL. Now Dos Un i’m sure would think otherwise.
