MARKETING MATTERS: Diddy among 3 African Americans featured in CNBC’s “I AM” Power Broker Campaign

Posted by Juan

Diddy Pats Himself On The Back in New Ads

CNBC has begun airing a series of new commercials promoting their new Iam.cnbc.com website. The project is designed to be an interactive hub for visitors to see, hear and learn about the countries largest power brokers. According to the website, Iam.cnbc.com pays tribute to some of the country’s most dynamic and successful individuals as they share their stories of success and failure in the pursuit of excellence, their management style and their hopes for tomorrow. They are American business.”

Diddy was one of the 3 African Americans to be featured in the campaign along with Bob Johnson (BET/ Charlotte Bobcats) and Chris Gardner (Gardner Rich & Co/The Pursuit of Happyness.) Gavin Maloof of the Sacramento Kings/ Palm Hotel & Casinos was also featured. Obviously a great look for the puffed one. Of course he spends the entire 30 seconds talking about himself and his various brands.
