New Details In Murder Of Sean Taylor Show Half-Sister’s Boyfriend’s Cousin Involved
Details surface to show connection between murder suspect and Taylor relative
More details have surfaced concerning NFL star Sean Taylor’s murder. It now appears that one of the four @$$holes accused of Taylor’s murder is the cousin of the boyfriend of Sean Taylor’s half-sister Sasha Johnson. The suspects are 17-year-old Jason Mitchell, 18-year-old Charles Wardlow, and 20-year-old Venjah Hunte and the confessed shooter 17-year old Eric Rivera.
It appears that the Washington Redskins’ defensive back held a party for his half-sister’s 21st Birthday at his home Thanksgiving weekend. Naturally Johnson invited her boyfriend, Christopher Wardlow (cousin of suspect Charles Wardlow), who brought with him murder suspect Jason Mitchell to accompany him to the birthday party. (it also appears the Mitchell used to cut grass for Taylor in the past)
It is believed that the shooting was due to a botched burglary attempt. The killers did not anticipate Taylor being home due to it being a “gameday” Sunday (the Redskins played the Buccaneers in nearby Tampa Bay). Taylor surprised the suspects when they broke through the bedroom door and shot twice, one bullet missing Taylor, the other striking the upper thigh and severing the femoral artery in Taylor’s leg. Taylor would be pronounced dead barely 24 hours later never regaining consciousness.
