Boot Camp Clik Make Moves; Sign Deals With ESPN & The History Channel
Legendary undergroud Brooklyn Hip Hop crew make power moves with media ventures and new artist acquisitions
Duck Down Records, home of the legendary Brooklyn team, Boot Camp Clik (Buckshot/Black Moon, Smif-N-Wessun, Heltah Skeltah, & OGC) has been making some power moves to become a relevant and prominent force in Hip Hop.
CEO Dru Ha & the crew has signed music deals with TV powerhouses ESPN & The History Channel. The ESPN deal has them creating original music for ESPN’s broadcast of NCAA men’s basketball all season long. While the deal with the History Channel has them creating musical content for broadcast and shows regarding urban content.
In addition to signing major deals with TV mediums, the music is still the foundation; recent signings of legends KRS-One (1st reported here way back when) & Diamond D, and promising, up & coming underground acts the Kidz in the Hall & Special Teamz with the already solid acts on the label puts Duck Down in a position to win…hopefully.

Those are my boys, get that bread
