But only for those who don't have any other role models in their life. A middle class black kid can grow up listening to NWA and it means nothing. But for that other kid who grows up without a dad or any other male figure to help mold them into a man, they may look to music. And the musicians they look to may be violent ones (or at least portray that image in their music). However I'm still gonna say the blame lies in the household and not with the music. I don't believe in censoring music because it is art. So thus the key is to build up the black family and community. so we can raise kids who understand that music is entertainment and not a blueprint for life. I think hip hop is a problem.
