Is this really about Dogs or Politics? Why does everyone care all of a sudden?

I’m surprised it took this long for Hip Hop’s Warden’s to publicly denounce dogfighting and subliminally disown two of its fallen own, Mike Vick and DMX. “The Monk,” Russell Simmons has dropped a public service announcement imploring all dogfighters to cease their practices and those who bear witness to report such activity to authorities.

Bah humbug. Honestly no one was really checking for no dogfighting prior to Vick’s case and honestly when Vick’s trial is done, nobody will be checking for it again. Its a hot topic of discussion and this is this just Russy’s wack ass attempt to stay relevant with his buddah self. Its all piling on. Just like the whole South East Asian Sweatshop bit back in the day, the racist radio hosts/ Imus fiasco or this whole steroids thing now…no one will care again once it falls off the front pages. To prove my point, do a Google search for anti-dogfighting blogs…nothing comes up. People will right about but not devote their lives to it.

Sorry Russel, I feel what you’re saying but you didn’t need to say it. You get minus points for this one.
