Can’t Wait For The Dark Knight
Heath Ledger is set to give his take on the classic Batman villian, Joker.
It’s been a while since I’ve talked about the upcoming Dark Knight movie. It’s not that I’ve grown less excited about it. Its because there hasn’t been much to talk about it until recently. Now as you see above, The Joker’s new look has been fully revealed on an upcoming issue of Empire. I’m happy to see such a dark look for the character. Hopefully Ledger’s performance will match (I’ve heard Jack Nicholson is hurt that he wasn’t asked for advice on the character).
On top of that the film has started to get some really interesting viral marketing sites popping up all over the net. For instance there is the website, The Gotham Times. The site aims to flesh out the movie’s setting as well as drop clues about the plot. Another that hasn’t launched yet is www.wearetheanswer.org.
The Dark Knight drops summer ’08 and word has it that they are shooting scenes specifically for IMAX and possibly in 3D. Does it get any better?
