MIT Mathematician Creates Custom Reeboks
Using mathmatic algorithms to create hot sneakers?
Ok, this seem a little weird to me but interesting at the same time. Reebok has hired renowned mathematician, graphic designer and professor at MIT’s Media Lab, John Maeda to design sneakers for them. Maeda comes up with the design on the sneaker using mathematic algorithms and codes that he just sketches down on paper (the guy doesn’t even bother to use a computer). The pattern on the outside shoe comes from his formulas and the design on the inside is the actual handwritten codes by Maeda.
These custom kicks which will set you back about $150 and are limited with only 100 pair being made. You can cop them over at Reebok’s custom site. And or a closer look check out the video below.

They aight, might cop a pair. I always go against the grain on sneakers
EH……..cornball ass concept though. Not too many mafuKkas care about the fact that the code to the outside design of the shoe is under their foot.
