At the 2007 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, 50 Cent unveiled his customized version of Pontiac’s G8. Teaming up with Pontiac and celebrity car tuner, Will Castro, well known for his TV show Unique Whips, to create a fully customized G8 sedan with unique features including headrests and floor mats stitched with a 50 Cent & Will Castro ‘Unique Whips’ logos and an 800 watt audio system.“Partnering with Pontiac has given me the opportunity to create something truly unique – a customized performance vehicle I am really proud of,” 50 Cent said. “The G8 is like none other and it pushes the boundaries of what people think a car has to be.”50 showed off his enthusiasm for Pontiac’s earlier this year in the video for his single “Amusement Park”, which featured the Pontiac’s G8 and G6 GXP (which he was rumored to have been paid quite nicely for product placement).
The new G8 goes on sale nationally in early 2008. The vehicle is totally customized, with custom paint and exterior appointments, as well as a re-trimmed interior outfitted with an audio system that shakes the ground
