According to a New Line Cinema anonymous source, T.I.’s film production company Grand Hustle Entertainment, is now standing on shaky ground. New Line offered T.I.’s production company a first-look movie deal (involved funding, first look at certain scripts, future roles & distribution for films his company produced) based on his success with the film ATL. New Line impressed with his on screen acting and charm offered him the production deal as well as a role in the upcoming film “Once Was Lost†co-starring alongside Danny Glover. Filming is slated to begin in the coming months and it looks like T.I. will miss out and possibly dropped from the film due to the inability to show up. The source believes that since T.I. will not be around to progress his projects the deal is now in danger.

When a rival gang guns down his best friend over drugs, twenty-year-old Slam (T.I.) vows payback. But in order to exact his revenge, he’ll need money he’s stashed away, money that he can only get his hands on by accompanying his retiring apartment manager, Marcel Washington (Danny Glover), on his family homecoming trip down South. Both men need each other and despise one another, and as Slam acts out on his plan, they form a bond that will become thicker than blood.
