Like many other kids in high school I was forced to read the Celtic Epic Poem Beowulf. To my surprised I really liked it and always wondered way it was not made into a big budget film. Looks like I’m getting my wish. I’m not sure how this joint is gonna come out but it may just be nice to see Angelina Jolie almost butt naked wearing nothing but dripping gold paint.

UPDATED: Put up the second trailer which was just released. After reading one of the comments below I noticed all the actors look like plastic. I’m a little disappointed in the Grendel design. I guess cause in my head I had pictured him more like Sabretooth from X-men

  1. Richard Coleman III says:

This movie is the first to implement a new technology called “it” or something like that. It turns imperfections on actors bodies into computer perfect renditions.

  2. S Dot Stylus says:

My favorite character was Grendel. In fact I know a lot of chicks that look like him.

  3. Maddmaxx says:

I’ve watched all the trailers from Apple’s website. I feel compelled to make two comments:
    1. Angie, if it’s possible, looks sexier than ever – but who was the idiot who decided she should be wearing freakin’ HIGH HEELS?!?!?! as she emerges from the water? This is an incredibly stupid faux pas – sort of like Roman solider wearing the wristwatch in Spartacus.
    2. The new technology makes the actors – at least in the HD trailers I’ve watched – look like a bad video game – weird and plastic.

BUT – it is the classic tale of Western literature and should make a great movie.
